Job summary

Dark Horse Technologies LLC is seeking a versatile TAP Program & IT Support Specialist to support the U.S. Air Force Military & Family Readiness Center (M&FRC) at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, FL.

This is a hybrid role combining TAP administrative duties with hands-on end-user technology support. The successful candidate will handle TAP data, classroom prep, laptop and AV support, and coordination with Air Force technical teams, while performing IT tasks such as Windows troubleshooting and MS

Qualifications

• Three years of combined administrative, data-entry, IT support or similar experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365 including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams.
• Working knowledge of Windows desktop environments and basic end-user troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Process TAP-related data, registrations, rosters, attendance, and program documentation.
• Support data-entry using AFFIRST, vMPF, DODTAP, Teams, SharePoint, and other government applications.
• Assist customers with class scheduling, registrations, and inquiries.
• Prepare TAP classrooms including laptop setup, Wi-Fi, projectors, and AV equipment.
• Provide first-line troubleshooting for Windows laptops, MS 365 apps, printers, and peripherals.
• Support Wi‑Fi connectivity and related M&FRC technology; troubleshoot AV and video conferencing equipment.
• Document IT issues and escalate to appropriate Air Force support.
• Maintain equipment inventory, lifecycle, and readiness information.
