Job summary

ConocoPhillips in Houston, TX seeks a 3rd Assistant Engineer - Marine to maintain diesel generators, air compressors, purifiers and electrical systems aboard Polar Tankers. Under the Chief and 1st Assistant Engineer, you will participate in drills, enforce procedures and contribute to pollution prevention.

This safety-sensitive position requires required MMC endorsements, TWIC, and U.S. work authorization, with tours away from home and 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States full-time.
• Hold or be able to obtain a U.S. Passport.
• TWIC, MMC, and MMC endorsements: OICEW, RFPEW, PSC, Medical First-Aid, Advanced Fire Fighting.
• Willing to spend long periods away from home on tours.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain marine engineering plant and auxiliaries.
• Maintain generators, motors, air compressors, and purifiers.
• Participate in drills, emergencies, and safety procedures.
