Job summary

Depot Connect International in Beaumont, TX is seeking DOT inspection certified mechanics with tank trailer repair experience to join our growing team.

You will diagnose failures, service tanks and trailers, work with air brake systems, and handle welding as needed. Shift hours are Monday–Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM at our Beaumont branch.

Qualifications

DOT inspection certified mechanic with tank trailer repair experience.
Ability to diagnose failures in mechanical and electrical systems.
Experience with air brake systems and welding is a plus.

Responsibilities

Diagnose failures and perform tank trailer repairs.
Inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT HM183 standards.

We are currently searching for DOT inspection certified mechanics with tank trailer repair experience!

Shift Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

This position is for our Beaumont branch at 4640 Washington Blvd, Beaumont, TX 77707.

Pay Range: $17.00 to $37.00 per hour, dependent on experience. Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.

Demonstrated skill in most of the following areas:

The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer.
Tank service and repair
Trailer suspension installation and repair
Experience with air brake systems and repairs
TIG aluminum, stainless or carbon welding experience (optional)
Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM183, hazmat)
