Job summary

Depot Connect International (DCI) in Cherry Hill, NJ is seeking a DOT-certified Tank Trailer Mechanic to join our team. This full-time role offers Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with pay ranging from $21.00 to $41.00 per hour, based on experience.

You will diagnose failures, perform tank service and repair, install suspension, work on air brakes, and conduct DOT inspections to ensure compliance. Welding/fabrication (TIG/MIG, aluminum, stainless) is a plus.

Qualifications

• DOT-certified Tank Trailer Mechanic preferred.
• Experience diagnosing mechanical/electrical issues on tank trailers.
• Welding/fabrication experience (TIG/MIG), aluminum and stainless preferred.
• Ability to inspect tanks/trailers and perform DOT inspections.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose failures and repair mechanical or electrical systems on tank trailers.
• Perform tank service and repair tasks.
• Install and repair trailer suspension components.
• Work with air brake systems and perform repairs.
• Conduct DOT inspections and ensure compliance.

Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Pay Range: $21.00 to $41.00 per hour, dependent on experience.

Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.

Demonstrated Skill In Most Of The Following Areas

• The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer.
• Tank service and repair
• Trailer suspension installation and repair
• Experience with air brake systems and repairs
• Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards, complete DOT inspections
• Welding and fabrication experience - TIG/MIG, aluminum and stainless preferred
