Job summary

Matrix Service Company is seeking a Tank Foreman to assist the Operations Manager in overseeing field crews and equipment on project sites. Travel to various sites (FL, VA, GA, NC, etc.) is expected throughout the year. The role requires mentoring field personnel and ensuring work complies with drawings and specs.

The candidate should have strong communication, crew supervision experience, blueprint reading skills, and basic MS Office knowledge. A comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Experience running a crew is required.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret drawings.
• Basic computer skills with MS Word, Excel and Outlook; willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Actively supports safety and Core Values.

• Perform system verification to ensure installations meet design specs.
• Review NDE reports to ensure code/customer requirements are met.
• Plan work schedule and determine personnel, materials and equipment needs.
• Supervise craft workers and liaison between field engineering and crafts.
• Monitor work performance to maintain project policies and safety requirements.
• Advise on potential problems and schedule difficulties; assist in resolution.
• Ensure adherence to all policies and standards; interpret as required.
• Perform additional responsibilities as directed.
