Job summary

Matrix Service seeks a Tank Foreman to assist the Operations Manager in supervising field crews and equipment across project sites. The role involves coordinating between Matrix personnel, QA/QC, and customers, and mentoring field staff to ensure quality work and safety adherence.

This posting supports multiple field supervision roles on projects nationwide; candidates should expect travel to various sites (Florida, Virginia, Georgia, North Carolina, etc.) as needed throughout the year.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Experience leading a field crew on projects.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret design docs.
• Willingness to travel to multiple project sites across states.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field crews and equipment under the Operations Manager.
• Act as liaison between Matrix personnel, QA/QC and the customer.
• Mentor and coach field personnel to ensure safety and quality.
• Plan work schedules, determine staffing needs and material quantities.
• Supervise craft workers and ensure work aligns with drawings and specs.
• Monitor performance, address schedule conflicts, and escalate issues as needed.
