Job summary

Matrix is seeking a Tank Foreman to assist the Operations Manager in overseeing field crews and equipment. This role involves coordinating between Matrix personnel, QA/QC, and the customer while mentoring field staff.

Travel to project sites across several states is expected, including Florida, Virginia, Georgia, and North Carolina. The position emphasizes safety, leadership, and adherence to project specifications on tank maintenance and repair.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a crew on field projects.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and design drawings.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel to multiple project sites across states.

Responsibilities

• Support safety programs and adhere to Core Values.
• Represent Matrix in professional conduct and ethics.
• Verify installed systems match design specifications.
• Review NDE reports to ensure code and customer requirements are met.
• Plan work schedules, staffing, materials, and equipment needs.
• Supervise craft workers and coordinate with field engineering.
• Monitor productivity and enforce project rules and safety requirements.
• Inform senior management of potential problems and schedule issues.
• Ensure adherence to all policies and standards.
