Job summary

Matrix seeks a Tank Foreman to assist the Operations Manager by overseeing field crews and equipment, and by mentoring field personnel. This role acts as a liaison between Matrix personnel, QA/QC and the customer, ensuring work meets design specs.

Candidates should have strong communication, crew leadership experience, and the ability to read blueprints. Travel across multiple project sites is required, with a focus on Aboveground Storage Tanks maintenance and repair.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a field crew on industrial projects.
• Ability to read blueprints and understanding design specs.
• Strong written and oral communication; safety-conscious.
• Willingness to travel to multiple project sites across states.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field crews and equipment to ensure work aligns with drawings and specifications.
• Mentor and coach field personnel; interface between operations, QA/QC and customers.
• Plan schedules, determine personnel, material quantities and equipment needs.
• Monitor performance and safety, report potential issues to management.
• Support compliance with policies and codes; interpret company standards.
• Travel to various project sites as needed throughout the year.
