Job summary

Overland Contracting Inc is seeking a field‑oriented construction professional to coordinate tank construction on combined cycle and simple cycle power generation projects. You will review projects from start to finish and support bids and proposals.

You will oversee staffing, safety, quality, and scheduling with the Project Field Manager, develop craft training, and contribute to design reviews and turnover while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction or heavy industrial experience preferred, or relevant experience.
• 3+ years of construction management experience.
• All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements including background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search.

Responsibilities

• Provides site construction teams with means, methods, and staffing to support construction of tanks on power generation projects and assists with bids and proposals.
• Monitors schedule, safety, cost, quality, and ensures turnover requirements are met in coordination with the Project Field Manager.
• Supports safety programs with EH&S and develops craft training and certification programs for tank construction trades.
• Leads design constructability reviews focusing on foundations, access, lifting, and interfaces, and supports subcontract development.
