Job summary

Republic Services in the United States is seeking a Talent Acquisition Sourcer I who is passionate about building organizations by acquiring great talent. You will partner with the recruiting team to understand pipelining needs and to attract passive and active candidates across business units.

You will craft sourcing strategies, monitor market trends, conduct online research, attend industry events, and screen candidates for fit, availability, and relocation.

Qualifications

• CIR, AIRS, Social Talent or another similar talent sourcing and/or recruiting certification.
• Proficiency in utilizing social media, internet research, and sourcing.
• Experience generating sourcing ideas outside traditional recruiting methods.
• Experience building strong relationships with colleagues.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Source passive and active candidates to assist with difficult searches.
• Create sourcing strategies to identify and engage candidates.
• Monitor market developments to highlight candidate pools.
• Perform online research for resumes and candidate profiles.
• Attend industry events to network and attract talent.
• Screen candidates for availability, salary range, relocation, and basic qualifications.
• Influence candidate decision-making and sell Republic Services' opportunity.
