Job summary

Layton Construction is seeking a Talent Sourcer to drive candidate generation, passive sourcing, and talent mapping. You will partner with recruiters to build targeted pipelines, identify passive candidates, and deliver qualified talent for open roles across the organization.

You will maintain ongoing relationships with high-potential candidates, ensuring a professional candidate experience and contributing to recruiting strategy with market insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in HR, Business or related field.
• Preferred: Construction industry experience.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and engage passive candidates.
• Strong research, internet sourcing, and talent market mapping.
• Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter or similar sourcing platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple searches and priorities.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Champions The Layton Way by delivering predictable outcomes for internal teams, external teams, and customers.
• Partner with Recruiters to understand open positions and sourcing challenges.
• Develop sourcing plans for niche, high-volume, and difficult-to-fill roles.
• Identify qualified candidates through various channels and passive search.
• Build talent pools and conduct initial outreach to generate interest.
• Screen candidates against qualifications before advancing to Recruiter.
• Maintain a consistent pipeline for high-priority roles.
• Provide Recruiters with qualified candidates and market intelligence.
• Communicate sourcing activity and market conditions regularly.
• Leverage ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, and AI tools to improve sourcing effectiveness.
