Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Talent Sourcer (Temporary) to build pipelines for engineering, manufacturing, and operations roles. You will partner with recruiters and hiring managers and represent SpaceX with professionalism and enthusiasm.

You will source passive candidates via LinkedIn, X, Boolean searches, GitHub, and industry forums; conduct outreach and phone screens; track metrics; and help move candidates through the early stages of the hiring process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 1+ yrs recruiting exp, or associate degree with 2+ yrs, or 3+ yrs in recruiting in lieu of a degree.
• 1+ years of technical recruiting experience
• Experience sourcing for engineering, hardware, or technical manufacturing roles
• Strong Boolean/X-ray search skills
• Ability to build strong relationships with both hiring managers and candidates
• Familiarity with ATS platforms and sourcing tools

Responsibilities

• Proactively source passive candidates via X, LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, GitHub, niche technical forums, and other channels
• Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for hard-to-fill engineering roles
• Leverage AI-powered sourcing and research tools to increase pipeline speed and quality while maintaining a personal touch
• Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements and refine sourcing strategy
• Conduct initial candidate outreach and phone screens to assess interest and qualifications
• Track sourcing metrics and pipeline health and share relevant data points with recruiters and hiring teams
• Represent SpaceX’s mission and culture compellingly to prospective candidates
• Stay current on market trends, competitor talent pools, and compensation benchmarks
