SpaceX is seeking a Talent Sourcer (Temporary) to build robust pipelines for highly technical roles across Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operations. You’ll engage passive candidates, conduct initial screens, and partner with recruiters to refine role requirements, reflecting SpaceX’s mission and culture in every outreach.

You will leverage AI-powered tools, maintain pipeline health, and stay ahead of market trends to ensure a steady flow of qualified applicants for mission-critical positions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of recruiting experience; or associate degree and 2+ years; or 3+ years of professional recruiting experience in lieu of a degree.
• 1+ years of technical recruiting experience
• Experience sourcing for engineering, hardware, or technical manufacturing roles
• Ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates
• Familiarity with ATS platforms and sourcing tools
• Ability to distinguish between the top 50% and the top 5% of talent within their fields
• High tolerance for ambiguity and a bias toward action
• To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen or national, or be eligible to obtain required authorizations.

Responsibilities

• Proactively source passive candidates via X, LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, GitHub, niche technical forums, and other channels
• Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for hard-to-fill engineering roles
• Leverage AI-powered sourcing and research tools to increase pipeline speed and quality while maintaining a personal touch
• Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements and refine sourcing strategy
• Conduct initial candidate outreach and phone screens to assess interest and qualifications
• Track sourcing metrics and pipeline health and share relevant data points with recruiters and hiring teams
• Represent SpaceX’s mission and culture compellingly to prospective candidates
• Stay current on market trends, competitor talent pools, and compensation benchmarks
