Job summary

Canonical is building a global Talent Science function to provide objective, data-driven hiring decisions across regions. The role leads strategic talent projects, mentors a team, and collaborates with senior leaders to align hiring with high-performance outcomes.

You will work remotely in the EMEA region, shaping processes, automation, and decision frameworks to recruit world-class talent while driving adoption of evidence-based practices.

Qualifications

• Degree in psychology or people-based field.
• Proven track record leading talent function in tech/consulting.
• Experience designing automation and products to drive hiring efficiencies.
• Advanced data analysis and visualization skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver Talent Science project roadmap with PM capability and influence.
• Design and implement solutions to complex talent problems.
• Ensure talent initiatives map to high performance outcomes and career frameworks.
• Coach and mentor team members to grow analytical capabilities and thought leadership.
• Represent the team in the absence of the Head of Talent Science; advise and lead.
