Job summary
Canonical, a remote-first tech company behind Ubuntu, is seeking a Talent Scientist to lead the sourcing of senior leadership talent and drive evidence-based hiring across global teams.
You will coach senior leaders, run behavioural interviews, and deliver real-time insights using SQL or Python, building relationships with stakeholders worldwide while promoting diversity and removing bias in our hiring processes.
Qualifications
- Experience headhunting senior leadership in Technology
- Familiarity with psychometric assessments
- Strong data analysis using SQL or Python to identify trends
- Ability to conduct and train others in behavioural interviews
- Academic background in Psychology or related field; strong maths at school
Responsibilities
- Develop search strategy for senior talent in the Tech space
- Coach senior leadership teams to improve hiring outcomes
- Drive talent analytics using SQL/Python for real-time insights
- Conduct in-depth behavioural/competency-based interviews
- Build relationships with global stakeholders and ensure process consistency
- Identify process improvements and reduce hiring bias
