Job summary

Canonical is seeking a strategic leader for its Talent Science team to drive delivery of hiring outcomes through data-driven decision making, roadmap planning and senior stakeholder collaboration. You will coach and develop team members, design scalable processes, and influence talent agendas across the organization while operating remotely within the EMEA region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology or related people-focused field.
• Proven track record leading talent-function teams in tech or consulting.
• Experience designing automated recruitment solutions and products.
• Strong analytics skills with SQL/Python and data-driven decision making.
• Excellent written and spoken English with senior stakeholder presentation.
• Willingness to travel internationally 2-4 times per year.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic Talent Science project roadmap with strong project management and influencing skills.
• Design and implement solutions to complex talent problems to hire exceptional talent.
• Ensure talent selection initiatives map to high performance outcomes and career frameworks.
• Design professional processes and frameworks for efficient delivery.
• Coach and mentor team members, developing analytical capabilities and training materials.
• Represent the team and drive the talent agenda in the absence of the Head of Talent Science, as a credible leader.
• Collaborate with Canonical leaders to communicate the vision for talent across the organization.
