Oriana House Inc. is seeking an HR professional to support recruitment and onboarding at the Hough Center in Cleveland, OH. The role focuses on reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, and coordinating background checks and references.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree preferred, with at least three years of HR experience or equivalent. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and databases is required, along with strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years demonstrated experience in an HR office may substitute for degree.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and database operations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Reviews applications/resumes for interviews and hires in line with Agency objectives.
• Logs, sorts, and files applications for current and future needs.
• Schedules and conducts first employment interviews weekly.
• Reviews social network sites for inappropriate media/posts of prospective employees.
• Conducts preliminary online background checks.
• Documents references accurately and thoroughly.
• Schedules and processes hiring paperwork.
