Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - MurfreesboroTN is seeking an Employment Specialist for an on-site, full-time role based in Franklin, TN. You will meet with job seekers to assess skills and goals, then match them with opportunities at client companies, while maintaining records and supporting placements.

You will conduct interviews, evaluate qualifications, coordinate with clients, and contribute to recruitment campaigns, onboarding, and training.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with clear presentation abilities.
• Interviewing and recruiting skills to assess fit, source talent and build pipelines.
• Customer service skills to support job seekers and employers professionally.
• Training skills for onboarding and guiding placed employees.
• Bonus: strong phone sales experience is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities for multiple placements.
• Proficiency with office software and ATS/CRM systems.
• Experience in staffing or HR is preferred but not required. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; post-secondary education in business or HR is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Meet with job seekers to understand skills and employment needs and match to opportunities.
• Conduct interviews, evaluate qualifications, and coordinate placements with client companies.
• Maintain candidate and client records, follow up on assignments, and ensure a positive experience.
• Support recruitment campaigns, onboarding, and basic training for placed employees.
• Collaborate with the Sales Manager to follow up with hiring companies and perform inside sales.
