Job summary

Aboon is seeking a Talent & People Director, the first dedicated hire on our People team, to own full-cycle hiring across the company and to build the muscle needed for rapid growth. This recruiting-first role will source, screen, coordinate, and close great people while expanding into onboarding, performance cycles, culture, learning, and day-to-day people operations.

You will report to the General Counsel and Head of People and partner with hiring managers across the company.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years in recruiting with in-house experience managing end-to-end hiring.
• Experience hiring across functions at pace, preferably in startup/high-growth.
• Fluency with ATS and modern recruiting tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Discretion with people data and sound judgment.
• Comfort with ambiguity and building structure where little exists.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools in day-to-day work.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting across the company from intake to offer.
• Partner with hiring managers to scope roles and run structured interview processes.
• Source proactively and build pipelines for recurring roles.
• Maintain a fast, clean ATS process and timely candidate communication.
• Oversee candidate experience from application to outcome.
• Coordinate interviews, debriefs, scheduling, and pace with managers.
• Manage relationships with external search partners as needed.
• Keep job descriptions and interview kits up-to-date and report pipeline health.
