Job summary

Weekday is seeking a hands-on People & Recruiting Partner to own our internal hiring and people ops. You’ll split time between sourcing for internal ops, sales, engineering, and managing onboarding, payroll inputs, and policy questions.

You’ll work close to founders and heads of teams, ensuring fast, clean processes and a high-trust culture. This is a small team where everyone pitches in, Monday through Saturday.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years in recruiting, HR, or both

Responsibilities

• Sourcing and running outbound to candidates for internal Weekday roles using internal tools
• Screening candidates, scheduling interviews, collecting feedback, and pushing to closure within days
• Running offers, background checks, and joining formalities to ensure smooth day-one start
• Owning onboarding end-to-end: laptops, access, documents, buddy, first-week plan
• Keeping HR records, attendance, leave, and payroll inputs on time each month
• Handling exits properly with full and final settlements and handovers
• Tracking hiring and people metrics and flagging issues promptly
