Job summary

Cypress HCM is seeking a Specialist, Talent, Event & LIVE Security in NYC. You will lead security planning for high‑profile events and talent experiences, coordinating with Content Security, Production, Marketing, Publicity, and Events to keep people and content safe while enabling creative execution.

You will analyze risks, build relationships with law enforcement, and manage incidents with a service‑oriented mindset. Travel and flexible hours are required to support global live productions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in security, intelligence, or related roles focusing on protection/security.
• Experience analyzing and mitigating risk in ambiguous situations.
• Bachelor-level degree in security, intelligence, emergency management, or related subject.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Intelligence teams to evaluate and develop security plans for events and experiences.
• Develop relationships with law enforcement and trusted security networks.
• Provide stabilization and management of incidents impacting events and experiences.
• Support productions and LIVE projects regionally when required.
• Design, implement, and oversee security plans for events, productions, and talent-driven experiences.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to protect people, content, and assets.
• Manage on-the-ground security operations with discreet protection.
• Coordinate logistics, staffing, and vendor partnerships to meet standards.
• Guide cross-functional teams and external partners with security best practices.
• Stay updated on industry threats and evolving security technologies.
