Roto-Rooter is seeking a Field Training Manager/Hiring Manager for its Columbus branch to recruit, train, and coach a team of sales and service professionals in plumbing, excavation, and water cleanup services. The role requires hands-on field engagement and the ability to meet manpower goals while driving revenue growth.

Based in Columbus on-site, the position offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 to $95,000 and the opportunity for a branch-based bonus depending on performance.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license.
• Experienced hiring manager with a track record of recruiting and developing a solid team of sales and service professionals.
• Self-starter who is organized and thorough with attention to detail and thrives in a bustling environment.
• Excellent customer service experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Have demonstrated experience sourcing and maintaining a pipeline of candidates.
• Strong knowledge of advanced recruiting platforms/techniques, including the use of social media.

Responsibilities

• Hire and retain employees for the branch by recruiting, hiring, training, and coaching.
• Increase revenue by developing existing business and cultivating new customers in both residential and commercial markets.
• Monitor team performance and identify training needs.
• Coach service technicians and sales staff to improve customer service and sales outcomes.
• Source and manage active and passive candidates on job boards and social networks.
• Ensure monthly manpower goals are met.
