Job summary

Goodwill Greater Milwaukee & Chicago is seeking a Retail Supervisor to assist with supervising the store and donation center operations, motivate the team to deliver excellent customer service, and help achieve revenue and production goals.

Responsibilities include coaching employees, overseeing POS coverage, assisting with hiring and training, maintaining safety and loss-prevention practices, and ensuring a smooth customer experience in a busy retail environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to complete and retain forklift certification.
• Work varied schedule and flexible hours; a minimum of two closing shifts per week and every other weekend as scheduled. Additional nights and weekend shifts may be required to meet business needs.
• Must have working phone that allows for communication accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Supervise store and donation center operations; motivate team to meet customer satisfaction and production standards.
• Coach employees and oversee training to maximize productivity and customer service.
• Oversee cash handling, POS coverage, and ensure proper cash controls.
• Support hiring processes: phone screens and training as needed; act as service experience leader (SEL).
• Maintain a safe and orderly work environment; follow safety practices and loss prevention policies.
