Job summary

LandCare in Vista, California, seeks an Employee Development Specialist to coordinate onboarding, support training initiatives, and manage a summer internship program. You will partner with division leaders to design onboarding journeys and development plans that align with business goals.

Responsibilities include leading 90-day onboarding, coordinating training events, and collaborating with the L&D team to implement company-wide development programs and measure impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years experience in training coordination, onboarding, or program management.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the 90-day onboarding experience for new hires and ensure a smooth integration.
• Plan and execute training programs and development initiatives with logistics and follow-up.
• Manage the summer internship program in partnership with Talent Acquisition and leadership.
• Track participation, gather feedback and suggest program improvements.
• Support leaders in identifying interns with potential for full-time opportunities.
