Job summary

Walmart is seeking a leader to recruit, develop, and oversee staff, aligning staffing with growth plans while fostering a culture of belonging and integrity. You will supervise associates, promote training, and ensure policy compliance across operations at a Rome, GA location.

The role emphasizes building teams, driving results, and modeling Walmart values to support customer-centric strategies and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
For facilities that sell firearms, the position may require a firearms-specific CBC and Firearms Authorized Training.
Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).

Responsibilities

Recruiting and developing qualified associates to meet staffing needs and achieve company growth potential.
Coordinates, completes and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
Supports plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs identifying and communicating goals and objectives.
Builds accountability for and measures progress in achieving results and addresses improvement opportunities.
Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring and training, mentoring, assigning duties and recognition.
