Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Store Leader to supervise and develop hourly associates, focusing on hiring, training, mentoring, and assigning duties. You will promote a belonging mindset while meeting staffing needs and driving store performance in line with company goals.

You will coordinate activities with stakeholders, support plans to meet customer and business needs, and lead initiatives to improve operations and sales, while ensuring compliance and ethical standards across the team.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include 2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience with 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience with 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Firearms background checks may apply for facilities selling firearms.
• Associates must attend and complete required trainings and assessments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties and recognizing performance.
• Promote a belonging mindset and recruit and develop qualified associates to meet staffing needs.
• Coordinate activities by building relationships with stakeholders and driving plans to meet customer and business needs.
• Lead store operations, manage schedules, and drive customer service and sales performance.
