Job summary

VSE Aviation is seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager to partner with the Head of Talent, shaping and executing a comprehensive recruitment vision across the organization. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or 3 years of work experience in lieu)
• 7+ years of progressive talent acquisition experience, with at least 4 years in a team lead/manager role
• Experience building relationships with senior leaders and serving as a trusted business liaison
• Proven track record sourcing and recruiting for senior leadership, with strong total rewards negotiation skills
• Strong command of recruiting metrics; ability to build dashboards and tell data-driven stories
• Hands-on experience with AI tools and recruiting tech for efficiency and candidate experience
• Experience managing both corporate and high-volume recruiting; able to lead a team and carry a requisition load
• Excellent communication and influencing skills; comfortable presenting to senior leadership
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and EEO/OFCCP compliance
• Experience with Paycom ATS or similar HRIS/applicant tracking platforms
• High sense of urgency with multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Partner with Head of Talent to translate organizational goals into scalable hiring plans and initiatives
• Own full-cycle recruiting for senior leader hires; manage external agencies as needed
• Lead, coach, and develop the recruiting team for scale and accountability
• Own TA scorecard: time-to-fill, quality of hire, source effectiveness, offers, pipeline health
• Drive AI-enabled recruiting across sourcing, screening, and reporting functions
• Manage senior leader requisitions end-to-end with high-touch candidate experience
• Ensure recruitment complies with employment laws and internal policies
• Contribute to process improvements across hiring lifecycle
