Job summary

Superior Ambulance Service, Inc. in Elmhurst, IL is seeking a Recruiter to source, screen and interview qualified candidates while ensuring compliance with federal and state employment regulations.

The role is in-office Monday–Friday, handling posting positions, onboarding support, candidate communications, and data-driven reporting to inform recruiting strategies; knowledge of HR laws and MS Office is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and also collaborate with the recruitment team, in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Human Resources and employment laws, regulations and best practices for recruitment and hiring.
• One year of recruitment experience preferred.
• Bachelor's/Associates degree in HR or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• The full life-cycle recruiting process: sourcing, recruiting, screening, interviewing, assessment, selection, background checks, and offers of employment.
• Administer new employee onboarding and assist with Orientation.
• Post positions and source candidates using job postings, job boards, social media, professional networking and cold calling.
• Collaborate with HR and Management to develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Participation in career fairs and special events as needed.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, policies and best practices related to recruitment, hiring and employment.
• Prepare information and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data and trends.
• In-office is required Monday - Friday.
