United Alloy in Union, Ohio is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to help build and scale our manufacturing workforce. You will partner with hiring managers, source and prescreen candidates, and lead the full recruiting lifecycle in a fast-paced setting.

This onsite or hybrid role supports a critical growth phase at the Union facility and offers two days on-site per week. A Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of high-volume manufacturing recruiting are preferred.

  • 5+ years managing all phases of recruitment.
  • 3+ years campus/early career programs preferred.
  • Experience with high-volume manufacturing recruitment.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with managers to understand recruitment needs and skill sets.
  • Create job descriptions and prescreen candidates.
  • Manage pre-employment steps (drug screens, background checks).
  • Maintain candidate pipeline and ATS records.
  • Build alliances with trade schools and career fairs.
  • Support Talent Acquisition team objectives and initiatives.
  • Lead projects and collaborate on corporate initiatives.

*Thisposition can be onsite full-time or hybrid with a minimum of two days onsite per week.*

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Team with external partners and internal hiring managers to understand recruitment and skill set needs for all positions.
  • Perform job analysis and determine essential duties, responsibilities, and qualifications to create a job description.
  • Access applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience actively engaged behaviors during prescreening, interviewing and selection process.
  • Prepare offer letters and initiate all pre-employment processes (drug screens, physicals, and background checks) in partnership with the Talent Acquisition Coordinator.
  • Maintaining candidate pipeline using a variety of recruiting/sourcing methods to meet performance metrics.
  • Utilizing and maintaining ATS information for candidates and tracking and reporting.
  • Create, update, and maintain all job postings internally and externally.
  • Create and maintain strong alliances with trade schools, post-secondary institutions, training institutions, and community partners to establish trusted relationships and a continuous funnel of applicants. Participation in career and job fairs.
  • Actively participate as an essential member of the Talent Acquisition team, supporting efficiency and team goals.
  • Work on projects that may be assigned and may assist on other corporate initiatives as directed.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
  • 5+ years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process.
  • 3+ years managing campus and/or early career development programs preferred.
  • Experience with high-volume full cycle recruiting in Manufacturing/Warehouse/Operations environment highly preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  • This will be an onsite or hybrid position in Union, OH.
  • Occasional travel may be required, approximately 10%. Local travel for career fairs may be more frequent.
