Job summary

United Alloy Ohio LLC. is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead recruiting efforts across nonexempt and exempt roles, manage partnerships with trade schools and post-secondary institutions, and oversee UA Youth Apprentice programming at the Union, OH location.

You will partner with hiring managers, analyze roles, craft postings, and oversee onboarding to ensure a smooth candidate experience. This role requires a strong background in full-cycle recruiting and campus programs in a

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• 5+ years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process.
• 3+ years managing campus and/or early career development programs preferred.
• Experience with high-volume full cycle recruiting in Manufacturing/Warehouse/Operations environment highly preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Team with external partners and internal hiring managers to understand recruitment and skill set needs for all positions.
• Perform job analysis and determine essential duties, responsibilities, and qualifications to create a job description.
• Access applicants’ knowledge, skills, soft skills, and experience during prescreening, interviewing and selection.
• Prepare offer letters and initiate pre-employment processes (drug screens, physicals, background checks).
• Facilitate and deliver an onboarding program.
• Act as liaison between new hires and trainers for trainee integration.
• Maintain candidate pipeline using sourcing methods to meet metrics.
• Utilize and maintain ATS information for candidates and reporting.
• Create, update, and maintain all job postings internally and externally.
• Collaborate with marketing to develop social media communications, events, and materials for recruiting.
• Build alliances with trade schools, institutions, and partners for a steady applicant funnel.
• Recruit and develop UA Youth Apprenticeship programs.
• Participate as a vital Recruiting team member, supporting efficiency and goals.
• Work on projects and other corporate initiatives as directed.

This position is responsible for nonexempt and exempt recruiting efforts for United Alloy. In addition, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will have oversight of our partnerships with trade schools, post-secondary institutions, and UA Youth Apprentice program at their primary location.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Team with external partners and internal hiring managers to understand recruitment and skill set needs for all positions.

• Access applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience actively engaged behaviors during prescreening, interviewing and selection process.
• Prepare offer letters and initiate all pre-employment processes (drug screens, physicals, and background checks).
• Facilitate and deliver a consistent and effective onboarding program.
• Assist as a liaison between new hires and trainers to ensure a smooth transition into new hire training program.
• Maintaining candidate pipeline using a variety of recruiting/sourcing methods to meet performance metrics.
• Utilizing and maintaining ATS information for candidates and tracking and reporting.
• Create, update, and maintain all job postings internally and externally.
• Collaborate with marketing to develop social media communications, events, and materials for recruiting prospective UA employees.
• Create and maintain strong alliances with trade schools, post-secondary institutions, training institutions, and community partners to establish trusted relationships and a continuous funnel of applicants.
• Recruit and continue development of UA Youth Apprenticeship programs.
• Actively participate as an essential member of the Recruiting team, supporting efficiency and team goals
• Work on projects that may be assigned and may assist on other corporate initiatives as directed.
