Metro One LPSG is seeking a Talent Specialist to lead recruitment efforts across our client locations and support our security teams. The role requires a strong background in sourcing, interviewing, and placing candidates for security officer, store detective, and related postings.

The role involves substantial local travel (about 70%) and flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed to maintain staffing levels.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of recruitment experience.
• Willing to travel locally ~70% of the time.
• Must be willing to participate in pre-employment screening and meet applicable state/county/municipal requirements.

Responsabilités

• Build a bench to meet critical client and remote site requirements.
• Recruit and hire associates for security roles by conducting interviews in assigned offices.
• Identify candidates for upward movement within the company and establish interview requirements.
• Source applicants through community services, colleges, agencies, recruiters, media, and online postings.
• Screen applicants against job descriptions and qualifications; verify references and fit for position.
• Maintain knowledge through professional reading and networking to support HR objectives.
• Complete related HR tasks to help the organization meet its mission.

Talent Specialist Requirements

• 2-3 years minimum of recruitment experience
• Ability to travel 70% of the time locally
• Must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process and continuously meet any applicable state, county and municipal requirements.

Talent Specialist Daily Duties

• Determine the hiring needs of the area by establishing model staffing through consultation with field management and Scheduling. Sustain model staffing by accounting for separations, availability restrictions due to client requirements and officer availability.
• Develop a bench as needed to meet standards established by critical clients and for remote geographic sites.
• Recruit and hire new associates for security officer, store detective and undercover divisions by conducting interviews in assigned offices.
• Identify officers for upward movement within the company.
• Establish recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives; meeting with managers to discuss needs.
• Build applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits.
• Determine applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
• Attract applicants by placing job advertisements; contacting external recruiters, using newsgroups and job sites.
• Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
• Evaluate applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications.
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
• Accomplish human resources and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Talent Specialist Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance to all Human Resource directives, policies and procedures.
• Maintain flexibility to work evenings and/or weekends as necessary in order to ensure smooth functioning of the company.
