Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of recruitment experience in HVAC, mechanical contracting, plumbing, or controls.
• Degree in Human Resources or related field is a plus.
• Experience with ATS/HRIS is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the recruitment cycle from posting to offer, maintain ATS and metrics.
• Source passive candidates and engage niche outlets both online and face to face.
• Conduct initial phone screenings and coordinate on-site interviews with managers.
• Manage relationships with external recruiting agencies and temp staffing.
• Maintain knowledge of the mechanical industry and promote diversity and inclusion.
• Develop recruitment strategies to attract top talent and align with company values.
• Handle additional duties as assigned.

Selected candidate will work with the Talent Acquisition Team and will be responsible for administering all aspects of recruiting functions.

Responsibilities

• Manages recruitment cycle and efforts for new associates; maintains applicant tracking system; writes and updates job postings; maintains lead generation databases and appropriate Metrics.
• Actively sources for passive candidates and identifies new niche recruiting outlets both electronically and face to face.
• Conducts initial phone screening interviews with potential candidates.
• Coordinates on-site interviews with hiring managers and executive team.
• Manages relationships with outside recruitment agencies; oversees the hiring of temporary associates.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the commercial mechanical industry, including emerging trends, technologies, and competitors.
• Ensure the recruiting process aligns with our company values, promoting diversity and inclusion.
• Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
• Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Skills Required

• Prior experience in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in using recruitment software, social media platforms and Microsoft Office products.
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate effectively with candidates, managers, and co-workers.
• Must have a positive attitude and have the ability to work well within a team.

Education and/or Experience Required

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in recruitment, preferably within the HVAC, Mechanical Contracting, Plumbing, or Control systems industries.
• A degree in Human Resources or related experience is a plus.
