The Talent Acquisition Specialist will work with the HR Manager and other recruiters to develop and implement the company’s recruiting and new hire retention strategies. The ideal candidate will have worked in a recruiting environment that was fast-paced and high-volume. Must be collaborative, accountable, positive, and willing to share our commitment to the vital role we play in ensuring our team’s success.

Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements and develop effective recruiting strategies.
- Source and attract high-quality candidates through job boards, social media, networking, and referrals.
- Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and guide candidates through the hiring process.
- Manage the applicant tracking system (ATS) and ensure efficient and positive candidate experience.
- Conduct reference checks and assist with salary negotiations as needed.
- Screening applicants and conducting initial interviews (virtual)
- Conduct regular follow-up with hiring managers and new employees
- Facilitate new recruitment initiatives and complete special projects as assigned
- Actively participate and contribute to process improvement strategies, projects, and initiatives
- Stay up to date on market trends by reading industry publications and social media, networking, attending job fairs, and participating in educational opportunities. Always bringing knowledge back to the organization and translating learning's into competitive advantage for the company.
- Prepare staffing metrics and analytic reports
- Accomplishes human resources and organization mission by completing related results as needed
- New Hire Retention:
- Develop and implement strategies to improve new hire retention, satisfaction, and engagement.
- Conduct regular check-ins with new employees to assess job satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with HR and management teams to create programs that promote new employee recognition and growth.
- Analyze employee feedback and retention data to recommend and implement improvements.
- Assist in creating a positive company culture
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in recruitment, employee retention, or related roles.
- Experience in a fast-paced or high-growth environment preferred.
- Skills:
- Knowledge of HR and onboarding process
- Basic knowledge of state and federal employment laws
- Microsoft Office, SharePoint,and basic computer skills
- Strong organizational skills with a knack for following processes and not missing the details
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to assess and prioritize candidates effectively.
- Understanding of employee retention metrics and strategies.
- Proficiency with recruitment software and tools (ATS, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field (preferred, but not required).
