Salary Range: $59,737.60 – $84,323.20 annually

What You'll Be Doing
As the Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will serve as a strategic partner to hiring managers across all divisions of the Department, including the Bureau of Motor Vehicles, Corporations, Elections & Commissions, Maine State Archives, and the Office of the Secretary. With over 450 employees and dozens of job classifications, your work will have a wide-reaching impact and shape how citizens experience public service in Maine.
This position requires a blend of strategic thinking, operational efficiency, system knowledge, and people-centered communication.

This role requires high levels of independence, judgment, and discretion. You will act as a subject matter expert in recruitment and talent operations, contributing to a stronger, more strategic HR function across the Department.
