Job summary

Yami is seeking an experienced HR Recruiter to join our fast-paced startup in California. You will own the end-to-end recruitment process, partnering with hiring managers to define role requirements, source candidates, screen, and guide applicants through interviews and offers.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in recruiting, strong ATS proficiency, and experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and Handshake, plus bilingual English and Mandarin.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience as a primary focus; experience in other HR areas is a plus.
• Strong proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and major recruiting platforms.
• Ability to analyze market intelligence and competitor hiring landscapes to support effective recruiting strategies.
• Practical experience using AI tools and technologies in recruiting and HR workflows to enhance sourcing and screening.

Responsibilities

• Identify current and future staffing needs and advertise open positions.
• Maintain detailed records about candidates and guide applicants through all recruitment phases.
• Own end-to-end recruitment process and continuously improve selection quality and efficiency.
• Develop proactive sourcing strategies across multiple channels to build a strong talent pipeline.
• Expand hiring channels to engage candidates across functions and levels.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to define role requirements and hiring strategies.
• Build employer branding and participate in career fairs and campus recruiting.
