Job summary

The Boys and Girls Clubs of Topeka seeks a Human Resources Generalist to lead recruitment, onboarding and new hire orientation for employees and volunteers. You will manage applicants through BGCT timelines, coordinate interviews, and ensure a smooth Cleared to Start process.

You will maintain HRIS records, administer benefits enrollment and support performance management and employee relations under the VP of Finance and Administration. Strong communication and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field
• 2+ years in HR focusing on recruitment, onboarding and onboarding
• Experience with background checks and childcare licensing (preferred)
• Strong confidentiality and communication skills
• Ability to manage high-volume recruiting and onboarding workflows

Responsibilities

• Own recruitment and applicant management within BGCT hiring timelines.
• Coordinate interviews, candidate feedback and offer processes.
• Oversee onboarding and new hire orientation for employees and volunteers.
• Maintain HRIS records and administer benefits enrollment; support performance management and employee relations under VP of Finance and Administration.
