The Children's Center of Hamden Inc. is seeking a Recruiting and Onboarding Coordinator in Hamden, CT.

The role oversees talent acquisition for the agency, drives postings, conducts interviews, and manages the onboarding process to ensure all new hires complete required paperwork, background checks, and orientations. Reporting to the Manager of Human Resources, you will coordinate pre-employment screenings, licenses, and credentials, while maintaining social media and ensuring regulatory

Qualifications

• High School Degree required.
• 2+ years in Talent Acquisition and Recruitment.
• Excellent public speaking, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to evaluate candidate competence and fit.

Responsibilities

• Oversee talent acquisition for the agency.
• Direct internal and external posting of opportunities and maintain advertising resources.
• Recruit, screen and interview applicants for potential employment.
• Conduct individual and group interviews for the agency.
• Execute onboarding with background checks and required documents.
• Coordinate pre-employment physicals and related documentation.
• Conduct new employee orientations including benefits review.
• Update job descriptions in collaboration with Department Directors and Administrators.
• Ensure professional licenses and credentials are collected and renewed as needed.
• Maintain agency social media platforms and stay tech-fluent.
• Review certifications and training to ensure compliance.
• Adhere to Boundaries Code of Ethics and agency policies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
