Job summary

The Children’s Center of Hamden is seeking a Recruiting and Onboarding Coordinator to oversee talent acquisition for the agency. You will manage internal and external postings, screen and interview applicants, and drive the onboarding process, including background checks and required documentation.

Reporting to the Manager of Human Resources, you will coordinate pre-employment activities, maintain job descriptions, and ensure compliance with licensing and regulatory requirements while promoting

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• At least 2 years of experience in Talent Acquisition and Recruitment.
• Excellent public speaking, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to evaluate competence and assess skills of candidates for employment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee talent acquisition for the entire agency.
• Direct internal and external posting of employment opportunities and maintain advertising resources.
• Recruit, screen, and interview applicants for potential employment.
• Conduct individual and group interviews for the agency.
