Job summary

AMH is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to manage the hiring process from candidate screening to onboarding. You will partner with the Recruiting team, hiring managers, and candidates in a high-volume environment to ensure a smooth candidate experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of office administration experience.
• Experience in HR, recruiting, staffing, or administrative roles preferred.
• 2+ years of experience with Applicant Tracking Systems; Workday preferred.
• Knowledge of state and federal employment laws.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages candidate background and reference checks through a third-party vendor and serves as primary point of contact.
• Processes offer letters and ensures correct language based on position, department, and pay bands; handles approvals and uploads into ATS.
• Manages job requisition process, ensures approvals, maintains ATS profiles, and resolves recruiting issues with managers.
• Tracks and manages temporary staff placed through agencies; reviews invoices for approvals.
• Ensures interview candidates complete applications and coordinates onboarding and scheduling of new hires.
• Creates and distributes weekly and ad-hoc recruitment reports.
• Assists at job fairs, recruiting events, and open houses.
