Job summary

Addison Group in Itasca, IL is seeking a senior recruiter to manage full-cycle recruitment across manufacturing, logistics, engineering and related roles. You will partner with hiring managers, develop sourcing strategies, and build talent pipelines for hourly and salaried positions.

You will source candidates through diverse channels, coordinate interviews, oversee background checks and offers, and contribute to improving recruitment processes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
• Manufacturing, industrial, distribution, logistics, engineering, or similar industry experience preferred.
• Experience recruiting both hourly and salaried/professional positions.
• Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions and partner with hiring managers.
• Strong sourcing, interviewing, communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with ATS/HRIS, LinkedIn, job boards, and other recruiting technologies.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred.
• Experience with campus recruiting and creative sourcing/networking strategies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting from requisition through offer and onboarding.
• Partner with hiring managers to define hiring needs, qualifications, and timelines.
• Develop sourcing strategies for both hourly manufacturing and salaried/professional roles.
• Source, screen, interview, and assess candidates through a variety of recruiting channels.
• Recruit for production, warehouse, maintenance, skilled trades, engineering, finance, sales, HR, IT, supply chain, and management positions.
• Build talent pipelines for recurring and hard-to-fill roles.
• Partner with staffing agencies, trade schools, technical schools, workforce organizations, and community resources.
• Support job fairs, hiring events, campus recruiting, and other talent-attraction initiatives.
• Manage candidate communication, interview coordination, references, background checks, offers, and onboarding.
• Serve as a recruiting advisor to hiring managers and provide market insight on talent availability and compensation.
• Maintain accurate ATS/HRIS records and track recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and offer acceptance.
• Identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes, candidate experience, and overall hiring efficiency.
