Responsibilities

The Talent Acquisition Leader reports to the Chief Human Resources Officer and provides leadership and support for the Talent Acquisition strategy across the organization. Responsibilities include managing the TA team in the U.S. and Europe, advising HR Business Partners in other regions, and providing hands-on recruitment support for executive roles. Key functions include:

  1. Managing the Talent Acquisition team, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, training, and development.
  2. Setting and overseeing the recruitment strategy and ensuring positive outcomes.
  3. Tracking and reporting on recruitment metrics, identifying process improvements.
  4. Investigating labor market conditions and sharing insights.
  5. Developing best practices in collaboration with colleagues.
  6. Managing external vendor relationships and approving invoices.

Qualifications

You are an organized, upbeat leader capable of multitasking, remaining calm under pressure, and proactively resolving issues. You possess a thorough understanding of recruiting methods, HR practices, and employment laws.

You Also Possess

  • 10+ years of full lifecycle recruiting experience, including at the executive level.
  • 5+ years of recruiting experience in the Property & Casualty insurance industry.
  • 5+ years managing a Talent Acquisition team through various business cycles.
  • Experience recruiting in large, complex organizations across multiple units and levels.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (iCIMS), HRIS (Workday), LinkedIn, and sourcing tools.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a decentralized, matrix environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Discretion handling confidential information.
  • Strong decision-making, supervisory, and communication skills.
  • Technical skills including Excel, PowerPoint, and AI tools.
  • Ability to travel approximately 10% as needed.
