Job description

This role will play a pivotal part in executing and evolving the company's talent acquisition strategies to support its ambitious growth for 2025.

Our client is one of New England's leading construction companies, specializing in large, complex projects. This individual will be responsible for managing recruiting activities across multiple offices nationwide.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage the development, implementation, and evaluation of recruiting practices and procedures, supervising and coordinating staffing activities.
  2. Develop and establish recruiting strategies, processes, tactics, and procedures, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  3. Regularly review and manage requisition distribution to optimize resources.
  4. Address all aging requisitions promptly.
  5. Manage and maintain the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  6. Generate departmental reports on position status and recruitment issues.
  7. Collaborate with Communications for social media posting and advertising, ensuring proper branding guidelines are followed.
  8. Manage vendor relationships (agencies, headhunters, secondary tools) and monitor KPIs such as utilization and cost-value.
  9. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  10. Manage the departmental budget, reviewing activities, expenses, and invoices.
  11. Travel approximately 10% regionally.
  12. Mentor, coach, and assess the performance of team members.
  13. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in recruitment, with full cycle recruitment experience required.
  • Ideally, experience in the commercial construction industry.
