Job summary

Markent Personnel is seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager in Dayton, OH to lead the recruitment function for hourly and salary staff in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You’ll modernize processes, coach hiring managers on behavioral interviewing, and own KPIs with a small team.

You’ll report to HR leadership, manage a recruiter, and drive strategic initiatives across internships, community outreach, and college partnerships while maintaining a weekday schedule and rare weekend work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, experience considered in lieu of degree.
• Minimum 5 years in manufacturing talent acquisition management.
• Experience leading recruitment for hourly and salary roles.
• Experience recruiting technical roles such as engineering and skilled trades.
• Experience improving recruitment strategies and KPIs.
• A proven leadership background overseeing others; HRIS familiarity.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and related tools.

• Lead salary and hourly recruitment strategy to fill positions timely.
• Develop internship and apprenticeship programs.
• Promote community involvement as a premier employer.
• Oversee hourly recruitment efforts and salary recruitment processes.
• Develop standardized interview and onboarding processes.
• Manage open requisitions and report progress to leadership.
• Ensure interviewing compliance with hiring teams.
• Build external relationships to support recruitment.
• Lead college and community job fairs and outreach programs.
• Improve talent acquisition programs continuously.
• Optimize use of HRIS and enhance system functionality.
• Oversee recruitment budget and contingent provider relationships.
