Job summary

Bechtel Corporation is seeking a senior Talent Acquisition leader in Houston, TX, to guide a team and align staffing with project needs. This part-time telework role requires at least three days of in-person attendance weekly at the office or project site.

You will partner with HR partners and hiring managers to forecast staffing, implement sourcing strategies, and improve metrics. Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) and 8–10 years of relevant experience or 12–14 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience recruiting professional, technical, engineering, project management, or leadership roles.
• Demonstrated success managing complex, high-volume, or strategic hiring initiatives.
• Ability to resolve a wide range of complex recruiting issues independently.
• Proven ability to influence decisions across multiple stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of full-cycle recruiting, talent sourcing, workforce planning, and strategic talent acquisition practices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and leads the daily activities of Talent Acquisition Specialists, ensuring effective execution of recruiting priorities and deliverables.
• Establishes team priorities, monitors performance, and drives accountability for adherence to company processes, policies, and service standards.
• Partners with hiring managers to ensure candidates are progressed and dispositioned in a timely and efficient manner, supporting a positive candidate experience.
• Serves as an escalation point for complex recruiting issues and provides timely resolution to support business needs.
• Analyzes and interprets Talent Acquisition metrics and workforce data to identify trends, support decision-making, and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensures staffing activities are conducted in compliance with applicable laws.
• Leads and participates in strategic Talent Acquisition initiatives, including workforce planning, employer branding efforts, inclusive recruiting programs, and career events.
• Builds strong partnerships with business leaders, HR partners, and stakeholders to develop and execute effective talent acquisition strategies aligned with organizational goals.
