Lead planning, budgeting, and contract negotiations with service providers. Strong knowledge of Bechtel procedures and regulatory compliance is essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10–13 years of relevant experience or 14–17 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with domestic and international multi-leg shipments and supplier/contractor management.
• Knowledge of Bechtel Logistics procedures, government regulations, and insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Establish and implement plans to ensure safe, economical delivery of goods on a complex project.
• Provide cost, transportability, and terms analysis to assist with proposals and purchases.
• Represent logistics at kickoff meetings to review requirements in documents.
• Prepare and present logistics bids, commitment authorizations, and contract documents.
• Negotiate Logistics Service Provider agreements to maximize Bechtel's interests.
• Oversee LSP performance to meet contracted services and project requirements.
• Review logistics strategies with project management considering cost, risk, and schedule.
