Job summary

Hellyeah AI in San Francisco seeks a high‑impact hiring lead to design and run the sourcing, outreach, and evaluation process. Own how we find and win candidates; build or drive coding agents with engineers; this is a technical role performed onsite with the CTO and founders.

From day one you'll run searches, shape the hiring strategy, and manage the funnel end‑to‑end, including early screening, interviews, and offers.

Qualifications

• You've hired senior engineers, researchers or AI staff.
• You've closed senior candidates who weren't actively looking.
• You've mapped markets manually to identify hires.
• You've scoped roles with hiring managers and adjusted requirements.
• You've implemented recruiting automation in live environments.
• You deliver outcomes without chasing; founders will vouch for you.

Responsibilities

• Scope the search: agree on a ranked list of skills and experience with the hiring manager; define success metrics.
• Map the market: build candidate lists, verify via public work and network.
• Win them: secure warm intros, extend conversations, and move candidates through weeks to days.
• Own the hiring agents: determine their scope, measure, and ensure human-in-the-loop control.
• Run the system: involve managers, use work trials, and record successful hires for visibility.
• Your first 90 days: define top roles, map networks, surface new candidates, and close a hire.
