Job summary

Self Financial is a venture-backed FinTech in Austin seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager to own the recruiting function end-to-end. You will build talent pipelines for technical roles, partner with hiring managers, and optimize our recruiting tech stack to improve the candidate experience.

The role requires 5+ years in talent acquisition, strong sourcing and interviewing skills, and a data-driven mindset. In-office Tue-Thu in Austin, with a hybrid work setup and relocation support available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with full-cycle recruiting expertise.
• Technical recruiting experience for engineering or technically-focused roles.
• Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques and interviewing methods.
• Experience with vendor management and optimizing recruiting tools.
• Ability to partner with hiring managers and build talent pipelines.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the full recruitment lifecycle end-to-end from intake to onboarding.
• Develop proactive sourcing plans for technical and specialized roles.
• Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and hire strategy.
• Manage recruiting tech stack and evaluate new tools to improve process.
• Shape employer branding to attract top talent in a competitive market.
• Design and improve hiring processes and interview frameworks.
• Coordinate handoffs from recruiting to onboarding for new hires.
• Contribute to cross-functional People & Culture projects as needed.
• Build scalable hiring processes to support future growth.
