Job summary

Plug and Play Tech Center in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a part-time Talent Acquisition intern to support the recruitment process by assisting with candidate sourcing, screening, and scheduling interviews, both virtual and on-site.

You will help update job descriptions, post openings in ATS and LinkedIn, respond to inquiries, and collaborate with HR teams on internal projects while maintaining confidentiality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong interest in Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, or People Operations.
• Good organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
• Comfortable working with basic digital tools (Google Workspace / Microsoft Office).
• Willingness to learn and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively with different teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support recruitment by assisting with candidate sourcing and initial screening.
• Provide a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
• Schedule and coordinate phone screens with pre-qualified candidates.
• Update and maintain job descriptions.
• Post openings in the ATS and on LinkedIn.
• Respond to candidate inquiries about the application process.
• Assist HR with special projects and internal communications.
• Support coordination of interviews, on-site or virtual.
• Maintain confidentiality of HR data and systems.
• Assist at job fairs and recruiting events.
