Job summary

Northwestern Mutual is seeking a talented individual for a spring internship at our Paramus, NJ office, working 15 hours per week onsite. You will support district recruitment and selection, execute recruiting plans, and help manage online presence under the Director of Recruiting.

You will gain exposure to campus recruiting efforts, interview coordination, and applicant tracking system usage while developing interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in a collaborative team

Responsibilities

• Sourcing and selection via social media and recruiting platforms.
• Use techniques to refine searches on engines, job boards, and social platforms.
• Promote recruiting efforts through strategic marketing.
• Participate in campus clubs and organizations to brand Northwestern Mutual.
• Identify opportunities and assist coordination of on-campus events (career fairs, guest speaking, etc.).
• Review resumes and schedule initial interviews.
• Shadow interviews conducted by district recruiters and leaders.
• Develop proficiency with applicant tracking systems and maintain candidate databases.
• Assist in coordinating leadership team meetings and preparing activity/results reports.
