Summary Of Position

The Human Resources Intern - Talent Acquisition supports Niles' recruiting and workforce development initiatives by assisting with sourcing, candidate engagement, internship programs, hiring events, and talent pipeline activities. This internship provides hands‑on exposure to recruiting, workforce planning, and talent acquisition strategies while partnering with HR and hiring managers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with recruiting activities including candidate sourcing, resume screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communication.
• Support job postings and recruitment advertising through the ATS, job boards, social media, and other recruiting channels.
• Participate in career fairs, hiring events, school outreach initiatives, and workforce development activities.
• Assist with internship, ambassador, pre-apprenticeship, and other talent pipeline programs.
• Help maintain candidate records, recruiting metrics, reports, and talent databases.
• Support onboarding and new hire activities.
• Conduct research on labor market trends, recruiting practices, universities, community partners, and workforce development opportunities.
• Provide administrative support for HR and Talent Acquisition projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
